There are quite few new games coming out soon, here are some trailers for your enjoyment that will fit perfectly with the Halloween theme. We have some promising games, like Carrion – A reserve horror game. Darkest Dungeon 2 where it is all about dying miserably. Backbone is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox Game Pass, you play a raccoon in a post-noir narrative adventure. Also coming out this week is The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes, a survival horror game.
Carrion
In Carrion, you will become the monster, spread terror, scare people. Instead of running away from a monster, you have to make sure you wreak as much havoc as possible. Available on the PS4 since the 22nd of November. (Released since June 2021 on Steam with a lot of positive reviews.
Darkest Dungeon 2
The first sequel at last! Going in early access on Steam from the 26th of October, this adventure game is set in a dark world where you will suffer. The game is known to be extremely hard because When you reach 100/200 stress, severe negative effects kick in with whichever characters have reached that level, causing everything to be 100 times more difficult. A game for die-hards for sure.
Backbone
Set in a post-noir Vancouver, you play a Raccoon that works as a detective. The game itself looks very stunning and has a very deep narrative. The game already has a lot of very positive reviews on steam and now will finally come to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox Game Pass.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes
If you truly like a horror game that makes sure your heart will stop beating for a few seconds, then House of Ashes looks very interesting. A game that is based around different stories of true fear, where at any moment you can just die. Just released on the 22nd of October for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam.
Bonus: Kate Collateral Damage
You are Kate and you have 24 hours to live, in this action shooter made by an Indie Studio you have to find a way to save Kate somehow. Available on Steam on the 24th of October.

Carrion, carrion carrion!! Yes! Be. The. Monster. I hope it lives up to its name. Speaking of which, I remember reading that out beloved Chris Columbus was working on a “Friday the 13th horror video game”. Still wondering when it’s coming out, or if it even still is. With the way everything kept getting pushed back, I wonder how we still have enough air to breathe for today. It’s the fear for me! Halloween is gonna be rad!
